The Stove Shop began in the mid 1970’s when the need by homeowners to reduce their heating bills met head on with an entrepreneur in Pekin who found a way to meet that need! The hearth industry was in its infancy at that time and welding shops everywhere were making wood stoves to heat ordinary homes when fuel prices were skyrocketing. Sound Familiar??
